After months of going on to Ken's website and "dreaming" of buying a home, there was one fateful day that happened. Chris from Ken's office phoned following up on our recent website visit and shared what was being offered for first time homebuyer's with no money down. I didn't think it was possible, but I never felt that the "wool" was being pulled over my eyes. After meeting with Ken and Chris and having taken the time to meet with their lender, not only did Cassandra and I find out that we were able to purchase a home, we started to actually believe it. After getting preapproved, we looked at different homes, found our wonderful home and in a three week period we were in escrow! Ken and Chris took the time to find out what our needs as a family were, they never left a question unanswered and kept in consideration of where we wanted to keep our monthly mortgage amount. We never felt pressured, or that they just wanted to sell a home, they truly cared. We are happily looking forward to the holiday season and celebrating every one in our beautiful home. We usually write letters complaining about the products or services we received from companies. However, this time around we are compelled to tell you on the level of service and expertise we received from Ken Grech and Peggy Orefice. To put it into a nutshell, it has been nothing but outstanding and a class in itself. We would say if there was a "Nordstrom's" approach to selling houses, Ken and Peggy have it covered. Being sales myself, I deal with may different personalities and from day one Ken and Peggy have been the most helpful, knowledgable, and patient professionals I have met. Especially, when we wanted to see many different properties and put in offers, Ken was patient and told us the honest truth, if the property was worth it or not. In a single word - STELLAR. Ken contacted us regarding an e-mail that my wife sent via the Redfin.com website, in which she had expressed interest in a particular listing. Within a five minute phone conversation Ken had found several other properties that met our search criteria and had offered to meet with us that same day to show them. Being only our second experience with a real estate agent, the first of which leaving much to be desired, we were both extremely impressed with the level of service Ken was showing us. His knowledge of area where we were looking to move was outstanding. He knew the floor plans for each property as well as background history with regards to everything from fireplaces and roofing to where the tile for a particular floor may have been quarried. During our time with him, Ken listened to our likes and dislikes, taking note and tailoring his search based on our needs in the properties he found for us. What meant even more to us was that Ken showed a genuine want to find us the perfect home. He was never pressuring or overbearing to sell a home that he knew we didn't like or may have been on the fence about. He really made us feel that our best interests were his main concern, and that he would help us in our search for as long as it took. This was also evident in how he made himself available to us. Whether it was showing a property at 8:30pm on a Friday night or taking a phone call on a Sunday afternoon to answer questions, he was always there to help. Ken works extremely hard at his job, and the level of service doesn't end at any milestone in the home-buying process. From our search, through the hellish and extremely frustrating escrow process, to the day the deal closed, Ken had been there one hundred percent. Even after everything was finished, we still got the occasional follow-up call from him, just to check in and make sure that everything was going well. Outside of being extremely professional, I'd also like to say that Ken Grech is a genuinely nice man. He loves his job and it shows. In closing, this was my first experience in buying a home. The process is stressful, it's crazy, it's frustrating, and at times even disheartening. Despite these things though, I'm glad that my wife and I had Ken on our side. We would certainly not hesitate to work with him again in the future or recommend his services to others. I'm happy to say that even though our first meeting with Ken was as agent and client, by the time the keys dropped into my hand it was an exchange between friends. Ken Grech is a great asset to the Redfin family of real estate affiliates, and certainly more than well suited to handle anybody's search for their perfect home.

We had a great experience with Ken Grech. He made our first home buying experience as comfortable as he could and was always honest and on top of any new property as it hit the market. He worked extremely hard to get us into the house that was the best fit for our family. He listened to our wants and needs and didn't waste our time or his time showing us properties that were obviously not a good match. He was patient and understanding and was always willing to explain things that confused us along the way. We got really lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work with Ken and we are truly thankful for all the hard work he put in to help us find the best home.

Ken was great. He got to know us and took the care to really understand what type of place we were looking for and ended up finding the perfect house for us. Ken is very generious and found us a house in a terrific neighborhood and got us everything we asked for. Ken picked out our house and we put a bid on it and didn't even physically look at it. We were out of state and only saw pictures. We were very confident that ken would have our best interest at heart. Ken is the best there is.
